WHAT ARE ENZYMES?
Enzymes are a delicate life-like substance found in all living cells whether animal or vegetable. Enzymes are energized protein molecules necessary for life. They catalyze and regulate nearly ail biochemical reactions that occur within the body. In other words, enzymes turn the food we eat into energy and unlock this energy for use in the body.

PLANT ENZYMES are grown from food such as soybean and wheat in a laboratory setting with specific actions rendered in units. They are nonpathogenic Aspergillus species and are free of mycelium contamination. Removal of all the aspergilli and fungi leave only the enzymatic action. Aspergillus enzymes have a strong record of safe use in the food industry. They are considered food by the FDA. The plant enzymes available from our supplier are of the highest quality.

WHY ARE ENZYMES IMPORTANT IN OUR PET DIET?
Dogs and cats digestive process is similar to human. They require digestive enzymes to break down food into nutrients. Although our pets’ bodies produce enzymes for digestive functions, but aging, poor diet and environment factors greatly reduce their enzyme potential.

Most of our pets are fed with canned, processed and cooked food where the natural food enzymes are destroyed.

Enzymes and the lack of can greatly affect our pet digestion and nutritional status. When the pet enzyme potential are depleted, problem such as constipation, diarrhea, itchy skin and shedding of fur, musculoskeletal inflammation and pain especially for older dogs, will arise.

HOW TO ADDRESS THESE PROBLEMS?
One way is to give your pet raw meat, fruits and vegetables, as they are rich source of enzymes.

Another way is to give plant supplementary enzymes together with their meals, as plant supplement enzymes is a natural and effective way to ensure optimal digestive functions.
