FAQs
Q: What is the weight of 1 P-III enzymes capsule?
A: Enzyme strength is measured in terms of activity and its potency. A product label should list enzyme strength in standard activity units rather than by weight. The higher the activity number, the quicker and better the response of enzymes on pets. A lower number will still have response but it will take longer. X weight could potentially have zero activity.

Q: Is acidophilus an enzyme?
A: Acidophilus is NOT an enzyme. It is a very beneficial bacteria that lives in the colon. It does aid in absorption of nutrients but it is not an enzyme and will not digest food in the stomach.

Q: How to ensure storage of enzymes?
A: Enzymes are natural workers, once the temperature exceeds room temperature (with some heat and moist, ie. approximately 28 - 32 degrees), it will "start working". We prefer the enzymes to "start working" after it has gotten into the body to fully optimise its benefits.

That is why, we advise customers to store them in cool area and avoid sunlight. Putting in fridge is fine, remove the required capsules when needed.

Q: Is enzymes a type of medicine?
A: No. Pet enzymes is 100% plant extracts which are grown from food such as soybean and wheat in a laboratory setting with specific actions rendered in units. They act as dietary supplements to enhance the pet’s body digestive and immune system.

Q: If my pet has no illness, can I feed him enzymes supplement?
A: Yes. Enzymes supplement can be taken on regular basis of minimal dosage to ensure healthy pet body system.

Q: Is your enzymes supplement only suitable for dogs?
A: No. In fact, enzymes supplement is suitable and encouraged to all animal pets including cats, fishes, rabbits, birds and others.

Q: Is supplementation really necessary?
A:

The enzymes naturally present in food play an important role in digestion by helping to predigest the ingested food in the upper stomach before hydrochloric acid has even been secreted. This predigestion is hindered when food is cooked or processed because the enzymes are destroyed by the processing procedures. Placing the full digestive burden on the body, the body and its digestive process can become over-stressed and incomplete. As a result, vital nutrients may not be released from the food for assimilation by the body, and gastrointestinal problems may result.

The primary purpose of enzymes in supplement form is to enhance the enzymes available in raw food, and replace those enzymes lost when food is cooked or processed. In addition, supplementation enables more digestion to begin in the gastric region, easing the burden on the digestive system as a whole. The earlier that digestion can begin, the greater the likelihood that no undigested food will enter the colon where bacteria can feed upon it, causing such problems as gas and bloating.

Nearly every pet can benefit from supplementation with enzymes. Even healthy dogs may improve their absorption and utilization of nutrients through the use of digestive enzymes. Of course the benefits will vary, depending upon the dogs diet and general health. Individuals in good health can expect to notice less fullness after meals, increased energy, faster emptying of the stomach contents, decreased gas, and more regular bowel habits.
